Directory Assistance/411

 

Currently ring-u does not offer and has no plans to offer Directory Assistance/411 access. The reason is simple: cost. It is another way to increase your phone bill for a service that is available for free elsewhere. To provide this service would of course have an associated cost that we would in turn need to pass on to our customers. Since almost everyone searches the internet to get phone numbers nowadays, and since we KNOW you have internet access (required to utilize our services), we feel that offering a redundant service to run up your phone bill is not in keeping with our stated intent to "save you money".

If we are wrong and receive sufficient notification from our customer base, we will happily revisit this decision in the future.
